Baltic League - Barons brings Marius Janisius

Barons Riga signed a contract with lithuanian power forward Marius Janisius (203, 27). Janisius started this season in Capitals Groningen, Netherlands. He comes to Latvia from Turkey, Banvitspor, where he was playing for two months.
Last season, Janisius played in Lithuania, Aukstaitija (currently Panevezys), and was one of the most valuable players in lithuanian league. He led the league in rebounding and was elected to lithuanian All-Stars match.
Barons stand 9th in BBL Divisio 1 with a 1-3 record.
