Fucka gave victory to Winterthur Barcelona in a very tied game that lived the Jasikevicius come back to Palau after leaving club two seasons ago.
Match started with Maccabi passing like an hurricane over Barcelona with Jasikevicius (11 points in first quarter), Baston and Vujcic playing perfect offensive basket and with Barca unable to score in a 2-3 zone that Gershon players did perfect.13-25 at the end of first 10 minutes.
But second quarter arrived and showed probably the best Barcelona of the whole season with the best Bodiroga scoring and De La Fuente stoping Parker in defense. Dejan leaded locals to a 35-34 at halftime taking advantage of the Tel Aviv team foul troubles (Baston and Jasikevicius with 3).
In third quarter, Sarunas fourth foul sended him to bench and player went out of game, but Vujcic took offensive responsability and returned Maccabi to game with his leadership and points. For Barcelona, Navarro, Grimau and overall an enourmous Bodiroga continued in game scoring from three with good averages.
Last game minutes were for Parker and Jasikevicius that played at the expected level but the lithuanian elimination with two minutes remaining and Bodiroga that scored a decisive triple with 36 seconds after a defensive mistake that left serbian star alone made Barcelona dream of victory. But an incredible Sharp stole and a three tied game with 8 seconds remaining. In last play Fucka fingers gave victory to locals.
