Euroleague - Top16, Day 6 ? Thursday


We now have all the 8 teams to face each other in the Quarterfinals:

Ulker is the last team to advance to the Playoff after beating Cibona on the road 68-64 (Gonlum 14) and will meet CSKA.

CSKA itself kept the first place in the group after beating Scavolini 84-66 in Pesaro (Granger 22).

In the next stage Scavolini will meet Maccabi, which is the second team in the history of the Euroleague to finish the Top16 stage undefeated, after winning Montepaschi for the 8th time in a row during the last 3 seasons, this time 81-68 (Jasikevicius 15) in Siena.

Real Madrid won the Spanish Derby with Barcelona 76-73 (Herreros 13), but unfortunetly it is the end of the Euroleague season for both of the teams.

The other 2 matches were already set yesterday ? Panathinaikos will meet Efes Pilsen and Benetton will face Tau.
