Just after the victory in Superleague A "small final", UNICS Kazan started working in the transfer market. The club already signed contracts with Anton Yudin (32, 197) from Dynamo MO and Ruslan Avleev (29, 198) who spent last season in Dynamo Moscow. Both players have previously played in UNICS. The club also resigned Sergei Toporov (24, 197) and Petr Samoilenko (28, 186). UNICS hero of the play-offs, Chris Anstey (30, 213) also said he would stay if the club really needs him. Meanwhile other leader Shammond Williams probably is going to leave as he's now one of the most wanted players in European market and first of all a candidate to replace Sarunas Jasikevicius in Tel-Aviv.
The bench is also being formed. Stanislav Yeremin decided to stay in the club for one more season, while earlier former Ural-Great coach Valdemaras Chomicius was appointed as third head-coach assistant.
