By Oz Porat

Yotam Halperin signed today a one year contract with the Slovenian champions, after he got an early release from the Israeli Army.

Despite that he had another year in his contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv, the team decided to let the player the opportunity to get more playing time in other Euroleague team.

Halperin said today to YNET: "I would like to thank Maccabi Tel Aviv, that I still have a contract with, that agreed to release me for a year to play in Ljubljana . I would like to come back next year to Maccabi, the club where I grew in".

According to rumors, the hottest name at the moment to replace Halperin is Guy Kantor from Hapoel Jerusalem.
