In week 2 of the Israeli league Bney Hasharon beat Hapoel Jerusalem at home 83-68 with 17 points by Williams and Bletcher while Maccabi Tel Aviv finally managed to find its rhythm against Hapoel Galil Elyon with an easy 103-80 win but only to see Nikola Vujcic injure his knee in the last minutes of the game. The injury will prevent Vujcic from playing in the next one to two months, that after recovering from another month-long injury only two weeks ago.
Hapoel Afula/Gilboa beat Ironi Ashkelon 87-80 with 18 points by Coleman, and in Rishon Lezion the local team lost to Ironi Nahariya 75-79 after Nahariya was leading for the entire game.
Ending this week with Hapoel Holon who returns to the top of the Israeli Basketball with another win, this time 94-85 over Ironi Ramat Gan. Despite that it was trailing with 5 minutes to the end of the game, Holon made a comeback and with Tucker in the lead remained perfect for another week.
