Fantastic playmaker from Belize shocked basketball public all over Europe and catapulted Partizan to the biggest success in last decade. After poor start and 0-2 at the beginning of Top 16 phase, Partizan changed speed and connected 4 wins in a row. Milton Palacio was truth hero of epic games in legendary “Pionir” hall where Partizan magically destroyed Siena, PAO and Efes Pilsen.
Palacio averaged 20.3 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists with fantastic shoot from outside: 74% for two and 55% for three.
Palacio came to Partizan at the beginning of the season directly from Utah Jazz where he played 81 games in previous season, 17 as starter. His arrival to Partizan was followed with skepticism from “experts” who were saying that he doesn’t have shoot and body for main stage. But Palacio proved that he has the most important thing: heart.
Palacio was playing during whole season with huge enthusiasm and it seems that this year meant for him just like a medicine to ill man. He admitted few days ago that his decision to join Partizan was the most important one in his whole career.
