This is madness. Again and again, MVP of the round comes from the team which lost. This time this is one of the best players (maybe the best) in Europe in this moment ? Anthony Parker. This 29 years old player, ex U22 USA National player, player with NBA experience (Philadelphia, Orlando) found real basketball satisfaction in Israel and culmination was last season; but in this one he and his team will have harder task ? to repeat everything.
Anthony Parker had an amazing night against Zalgiris with index rating 35. He scored 35 pts (from the field 17-9, free throws 14-12), collected 3 rebounds 2 assists, 4 steals and 8 fouls against him. Parker is so close now to Dejan Milojevic who is still on the leader position of MVP list ? but Milojevic is injured and he will not play in first round of Euroleague anymore.
